Woven flower on silk

This is a Kensitas silk flower mounted on white card with a gold frame. These little flower patches were given away in the 1930's by tobacco company Kensitas to show the most popular flower of the moment. A wonderful piece of history that have become quite the collectables. Height is 14cm and width is 12.3cm. Perfect for a hallway cove or as part of a gallery in a powder room.
